By accessing and using GlycemicAI ("Service", "App", "we", "us", or "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including both free and paid users. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the Service.

AI-Powered Analysis

GlycemicAI provides artificial intelligence-powered glycemic index analysis for food items. Our Service uses Google Gemini AI to analyze food images and text searches to provide nutritional information including glycemic index, calories, macronutrients, and other dietary data.

Service Features

The Service includes: (1) Image-based food analysis, (2) Text-based food search, (3) Ingredient analysis, (4) Favorites and history management, (5) Multi-language support, (6) Credit-based usage system, and (7) In-app purchases for credit packages.

Service Availability

We strive to provide continuous access to the Service, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without notice.

AI Accuracy

While we use advanced AI technology, the nutritional information provided is for informational purposes only and should not be considered medical advice. Accuracy may vary, and you should consult healthcare professionals for medical decisions.

Credit System

GlycemicAI operates on a credit-based system. Different features consume different amounts of credits: Text search costs 1 credit, Image analysis costs 3 credits, and Ingredient analysis costs 2 credits per ingredient. New users receive 10 free credits upon registration.

Purchasing Credits

You may purchase additional credits through in-app purchases. Credit packages are available in multiple tiers (Starter, Popular, Pro). All purchases are processed through Google Play Store or Apple App Store and are subject to their respective terms and policies.

Credit Validity

Credits do not expire and remain valid as long as your account is active. Credits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded except as required by law or in cases of service failure.

Refund Policy

If an API call fails due to service errors on our end, credits will be automatically refunded to your account. For purchase-related refunds, please contact the respective app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) within their refund period. We do not have control over app store refund decisions.

Pricing Changes

We reserve the right to modify credit costs and package prices at any time. Price changes will not affect credits already purchased. We will provide reasonable notice before implementing significant pricing changes.

Account Creation

To use the Service, you must create an account using Google Sign-In. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not: (1) Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws, (2) Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems, (3) Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers, (4) Use automated systems to access the Service without permission, or (5) Abuse or exploit any bugs or vulnerabilities in the Service.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our sole discretion. You may also delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us.

You are prohibited from: (1) Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Service, (2) Removing or modifying any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices, (3) Using the Service to train competing AI models, (4) Reselling or redistributing the Service or credits, (5) Creating multiple accounts to abuse free credits or promotions, (6) Submitting inappropriate, illegal, or offensive content, (7) Attempting to manipulate credit calculations or bypass payment systems, and (8) Using the Service for commercial purposes without permission.

IMPORTANT: GlycemicAI is an informational tool and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The nutritional information and glycemic index values provided by the Service are estimates generated by AI and may not be 100% accurate.

Always consult with qualified healthcare professionals before making any dietary changes, especially if you have diabetes, pre-diabetes, or other medical conditions. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by this Service.

GlycemicAI is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Individual responses to foods may vary based on numerous factors including metabolism, physical activity, medications, and overall health status.

Our Rights

The Service, including all content, features, functionality, software, and design, is owned by GlycemicAI and protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Rights

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial use. This license does not include the right to: (1) Modify or copy the materials, (2) Use the materials for commercial purposes, (3) Remove any copyright or proprietary notations, or (4) Transfer the materials to another person.

User Content

When you upload images or submit content to the Service, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, store, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

Trademarks

GlycemicAI, our logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of GlycemicAI. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLYCEMICAI AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

IN NO EVENT WILL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES, LOSSES, AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES. IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY WILL BE LIMITED TO THE GREATEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT: (1) THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, (2) THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE, (3) THE QUALITY OF ANY PRODUCTS, SERVICES, INFORMATION, OR OTHER MATERIAL OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS, OR (4) ANY ERRORS IN THE SERVICE WILL BE CORRECTED.

NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, OBTAINED BY YOU FROM US OR THROUGH THE SERVICE WILL CREATE ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED IN THESE TERMS.
